This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced Clinical Coordinator to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV).
About us
Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations. Our vision is for positive, respectful, safe and fulfilling relationships for all Australians. For more than 75 years, we have been delivering high quality family and relationship support services, and we now support more than 20,000 clients every year. We have over 400 dedicated employees working from 21 centres across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
About Youth Enhanced Services:
The Gippsland Youth Enhanced Service (YES) will provide enhanced support to young people 12-25 years of age who are living with, or at risk of severe and complex mental health issues, and who require a greater level of support than what can be provided by GPs, private clinicians, headspace services and school counsellors. Often referred to as the system’s ‘missing middle’, the needs of this cohort of young people are typically considered to be too complex to be met by the primary mental health care system, but not acute enough for the tertiary mental health system. The program will include holistic and high-quality mental health and psycho-social supports that will be continuously adapted to meet the changing needs of young people.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager Youth Mental Health Services, you will provide clinical leadership and operational direction to the Youth Enhanced Service (YES) team. You will ensure that day-to-day clinical work effectively meets the needs of young people and ensure that staff are well supported in undertaking their clinical duties, as well as engaging in clinical and caseload reviews. The role also has a small clinical direct service delivery component and also contributes to the development of evidence-based and innovative clinical services and will promote the delivery of mental health services that are of the highest quality.
This opportunity is located at our Traralgon, Bairnsdale, Sale or Wonthaggi centre and will be working four (4) days per week, including one evening shift on a Tuesday or Thursday (if based in Wonthaggi). This position is fixed term until June 2026 with the possibility of permanent employment if funding contracts are renewed. The base salary is $117k (pro-rata) per annum.
