About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you are a qualified Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Practitioner able to work with our team of highly skilled and dedicated practitioners providing FDR to separating couples by assisting to resolve issues in dispute such as parenting arrangements, property settlements and developing parenting plans. Your responsibilities include providing conflict resolution, parent education, a framework for negotiation, undertaking assessments and mediation, group work (as required), providing information, support, and referrals to match presenting needs to services and programs. The successful candidate MUST have a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.

The successful candidate will be working part-time, either four (4) or three (3) days per week (Monday – Thursday), including one evening shift at our Berwick Family Relationship Centre. This position is for a fixed-term period covering parental leave for 12 months.

The base salary range is $95k-$102k (pro-rata) per annum with access to salary packaging of $18,550 per annum.

About you

  • Degree qualified in Social Work, Social Sciences (psychology, social work) or Family Law.
  • Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
  • Accreditation as an FDRP with the Attorney-General’s Department.
  • Previous experience working as an FDRP (desirable).
  • Experience/or training in property mediation, able to undertake training (preferable).
