About the role:
Located within our Corporate Services team in our Bendigo
based office, this fixed term opportunity is on a part time basis 0.8 FTE (30.4
hours per week, across 5 days) until 24th November 2025.
The purpose of the Receptionist role is to contribute to the
efficient and effective running of the front reception support functions and
the delivery of high-quality services.
The Receptionist is responsible for:
- Providing
a high-quality range of administrative support functions to staff including
preparation of correspondence, confidential documents, filing and data entry.
- Undertaking
reception and switchboard duties, including appropriate follow-up actions.
- Greeting
and welcoming people when they access the service on the phone or through the
front door.
- Directing
all clients to waiting rooms, the children’s room and kitchen facilities.
- Being
sensitive and understanding to the needs and issues of all people accessing the
service.
- Contribute
to organisation wide communication via SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Demonstrating
commitment to participation in agency processes and adherence to agency Code of
Ethics.
About you:
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Well-developed
administration and reception experience.
- Highly
developed skills in dealing with complex, confidential and sensitive issues
with a high level of tact, discretion and judgment.
- Sound
computer and keyboard skills, including a good knowledge of the Microsoft
Office packages including excel and outlook and the ability to troubleshoot
software issues.
- Demonstrated
organisational skills with the ability to determine priorities and meet work
deadlines.
- Demonstrated
ability to be flexible and adapt to change within a rapidly changing
environment.
- Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
