This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Clinician to join Relationships Australia Victoria in a key clinical supervision role.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, professional counselling and therapy services for a diverse range of clients. This includes mentoring staff, providing individual and group clinical supervision, overseeing supervisees’ caseloads, providing constructive feedback and support. You will apply your professional judgement to assess clinical effectiveness, monitor client risk, and identify and support new initiatives to ensure continuous improvement. Additionally, you will offer direct counselling services to individuals, couples, and families, as needed.

This role is located at Cranbourne and Boronia centres and is permanent, part-time, working four (4) days per week including one evening shift. The base salary range is $117k-$120k (pro-rata) per annum. 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Counselling or Social Work.
  • Significant experience undertaking clinical supervision in a similar working environment, supervising/leading a clinical team.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including providing constructive and proactive feedback in relation to contemporary practice and improvement.
  • Previous experience working with Family Violence, Mental Health, Child Protection and relevant service sectors.
  • Eligibility for membership of a professional body (APS, AASW or appropriate organisation) is highly desirable.
