What’s your day-to-day?

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with your clients, their families, allied health professionals, and support staff.
  • Innovation: Build capable environments that support your clients to achieve a high quality of life where they have more choice and control.
  • Expertise: Help all stakeholders understand the persons underlying needs that may be contributing to behaviours that pose a risk of harm.
  • Creativity: Address each client’s individual needs through strategies that work for them.
  • Learning: Hone your skills daily to ensure the best evidence-based practice.

Let’s talk about you!

  • Degree in psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, social work, education, or nursing is a must.
  • You’re passionate about working with people with complex behaviours of concern.
  • You’re committed to understanding the principles of evidence-based practice, and applying this practice as a PBS practitioner.
  • You’re eager to work in various environments like homes, workplaces, the community, schools, prisons, and more.
  • You manage and prioritise your workload to meet the clients and the organisation’s needs.
  • You excel at building relationships. No matter if it’s with your client, their family, support workers, or medical providers.
  • You have exceptional communication skills - written and verbal.
  • You have an Australian driver’s licence.
