The role
Our Local Buying Foundation Team plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of the Local Buying Foundation (LBF).

The Local Buying Foundation Project Officer (LBFPO) will assist in the successful delivery of assigned funded projects is to ensure that all project activities are executed in accordance with the approved budget, timeline, and scope, while continuously monitoring and mitigating risks to ensure successful project completion.

The successful candidate
We are seeking a passionate project officer, with grant management experience and we strongly encourage you to apply if you are a solutions focussed, flexible, professional responsive to the needs of your clients and stakeholders who holds:

• Ability to provide succinct recommendation of assigned applications received in funding round to Advisory Committee, LBF Chair and LBF Trustees (C-Res Board) for project applications received.
• Strong project experience and demonstrated ability to proactively identify and manage risks
• Proficient experience reviewing and monitoring compliance with MOUs and LOA requirements and ability to report on outcomes
• Very high level of communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and facilitation skills
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent customer service skills/ interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet goals and targets, ensuring delivery in full and on time
• Relentless attention to detail and pervasive commitment to quality with a continuous improvements mindset
• Well-developed administration, organisational and problem solving/ planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
• Self-starter with proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Current valid Driver's Licence, your own vehicle and ability to undertake interstate and state work-related travel as requested
• Certificate IV in Business, Community Engagement, Education and Training or similar qualifications or extensive demonstrated experience within the scope of this position description
