The role
Our Business Services Team plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of the Local Buying Program.

The Business Development Advisor (BDA) will assist in the successful delivery and coordination of C-Res national business engagement initiatives and undertake program administration for the Local Buying Program (LBP) based in our Port Hedland Office in Western Australia.

The position will support the national Business Development Advisors (BDA), Principals (BDP) and Leads (BDL) and undertake administration duties as required for the Business Services Team (BST).  

The successful candidate

  • has experience with supplier management including onboarding, work instructions and diligence checks.
  • Ability to provide and identify business intel and good new stories/brightspots.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Previous experience in coordinating, planning and attending events as a representative of business.
  • Very high level of communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service skills/ interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet goals and targets, ensuring delivery in full and on time
  • Relentless attention to detail and pervasive commitment to quality with a continuous improvements mindset
  • Well-developed administration, organisational and problem solving/ planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Current valid Driver's Licence, your own vehicle and ability to undertake interstate and state work-related travel as requested
  • An understanding of the procurement process, tendering, and or project management would be advantageous
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, Community Engagement, Education and Training or similar qualifications, or proven ability to successfully undertake duties of this position
